Propylene Glycol Alginat

Propylene glycol alginat, also named as PGA, is made from alginate extracted from natural seaweed by deep processing. It is a white or yellowish white fibrous powder or coarse powder, almost odorless and tasteless. It can be dissolved in water, dilute organic acid solution, and not in methanol,enthanol,benzene and other organic solvents, but some of esterified products can be dissolved in ethanol solution with content less than 60%。Its aqueous solution is a viscous colloid, which is marine food additive with excellent performance.
