Microcrystalline cellulose is a bio-based material with superior performance.As a degradation product of natural cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose not only retains the features of natural cellulose such as green, non-toxic, easy to degrade and modify, but also has its own unique properties, such as small particle size, high modulus, high crystallinity and low degree of polymerization. It is a macro-molecule compound in the form of powder or short rod, with particle size ranging from 20 to 80µm, odorless, strong fluidity but not fibrous.
