Arabic Gum

Arabic Gum is a kind of gum that is naturally solidified in the air. It comes from the exudate of the trunk of the acacia tree in the leguminous family. It is a safe and harmless thickener. The finished product is generally yellow to light yellow-brown translucent block, or white to light yellow particles and powder. It is odorless, tasteless, extremely soluble in water, and can be largely dissolved in hot water and cold water to form a clear and sticky thick liquid. Arabic gum is the oldest and most famous natural gum in the world.
